Chopped dipped donuts are an easy favorite. Soft and sweet, baked goods like donuts are fun treats to make and can be a delicious alternative to the store-bought stuff. While fried donuts are lauded for their fluffy insides and dense exterior, these baked ones are spongy and cakey with the same deliciously soft bite! Plus, a rich dark chocolate that’s lightly sweetened or unsweetened works well with the lowkey flavor of the donut.
Simply whisk together the wet ingredients, then fold in the dry ingredients and pour it all into donut pans. Bake ‘em up and let ‘em cool. Then melt your choice of dark chocolate and get to dippin’ with half of each donut. And do they happen to be free of gluten and refined sugar? Check and check.
